About the Owner:
Our owner and namesake, Andre Canard, has been closely involved in the carpentry and millwork trades for almost his entire life. When he was 8 years old, he picked up his first hammer, with a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps. This was the genesis of a lifelong appreciation for carpentry and woodworking.
After establishing himself as a skilled carpenter in his hometown of Mountain View, Arkansas, Andre made his way here to Dallas, where over 30 years ago he began to put his considerable knowledge to good use, establishing a reputation for himself based on the principles of quality craftsmanship, hard work, and an ethical, fair, and courteous treatment of those clients who had placed their trust and faith in Andre and his abilities.
Andre has always believed that a job worth doing is a job worth doing well. Taking pride in a job well done is one of the purest feelings one can experience, and this work ethic has remained with him throughout his career.
About the company:
Those same principles are also the driving force behind the Andre Canard Company. Whether manufacturing the millwork for a new project, or putting the finishing touches on a completed one, the belief that giving 100% in an effort to do the job correctly is the only way to proceed inspires everything that we do here. We make every possible effort to ensure that the products and services we furnish are exactly what our customers have communicated to us.
We realize that handshake deals and verbal contracts are products of a bygone era, and are not practical in today’s business environment. But, we also do not believe that the feelings of trust, comfort and familiarity that came along with those golden days need to be sacrificed or forsaken altogether. Thus, we make every effort to leave all of our business partners and customers with the feeling that they made a very good decision in doing business with us.
Andre Canard Company is fully insured, and adheres closely to the guidelines recommended by the AWI for our chosen specializations.
We make every effort to remain competitive in terms of our cost and time on the job, but we do realize that ‘you can’t win ‘em all’.
